It's been quite a while since our last update. We've acquired many new items since then. I've added some of those to our site. Check the Gopher jerseys, bowl rings, and lesser conference helmets for new items.  A unique addition to our collection. As promised, my new man cave photos. We purchased a few home nearly a year ago, and it took about 6 months from start to finish to get the man cave completed. The bar was the final piece to be finished having been taken apart in 5 sections and reassembled in my new basement.
I'm going to try to post about a few dozen items I've picked up over the past year or so here as time permits. The first is a really special piece! It's the Gophers football locker room sign from the Metrodome. It was used during the entire time the dome existed that the Gophers played there, 1982-2008. The photo on the left is an original photo of the sign in use in a Dome basement concourse. This is one of a kind, obviously extremely rare piece. It's roughly 1.5' high x 3' long, and solid steel.
I've been working on my pontoon renovation for most of the early summer months and it's now complete. The USS Goldy took it's maiden voyage on the Berry Lake chain in Reading, Michigan in late July. Eat your heart out Michigan, MSU, and Buckeye fans! It's safe to say we'll be the only ones rowing the boat out here in southern Michigan.  Hello Minnesota Gopher fans and fellow Gopher gear collectors! Yes, I am still alive and well, and yes this website is still running. I've not made an update to it in well over a year. I guess that's what fatherhood does to you. I have a 17 month old boy, a new home that is about to undergo mancave construction, and a lake place that's undergone a major facelift over this past year. Combine that with a full-time teaching job and it's been difficult to update this site. We've acquired numerous items these past months and plan to get photos up this summer. The mancave photoshoot should be this fall. I'm doubling the size of my display space so I'm excited to see the results! Until then, Go Gophers!
I've decided to sell off the pro jersey portion of my collection. I've put this collection of roughly 75 jerseys together over the past 8 years. With the birth of my soon 3 months ago, I have other priorities. I will soon list some of my MN Gopher autographs as well, and few other rare memorabilia pieces.
