I added an near exact replica of the Little Brown Jug Trophy to my collection. It's about 85% of the original size/weight, but nearly perfect in every detail otherwise. It's makes a fine addition to my collection, and great conversation piece in my Gopher Den/Man Cave. I've been waiting for the perfect piece to hang above it, and was able to find the photo from the Star Tribune cover of when we beat Michigan in 2014 in the Big House. My father in-law, wife, and I were in the first row hanging over the wall to touch the jug and were caught in that photo. We were able to shake hands with Jerry Kill, touch the jug, and talk to a number of the players. It was one of the greatest sports moments in my life, captured in one moment. The photo was an early gift from my father in-law.  |
