Here's a pic of the new Illinois helmet for the 2013 season. We don't know if they'll be alternates or what other changes to their uniforms may be made. They decided to get rid of the script Illinois on the sides of the their helmets and go with a classic I look. They Illini haven't been able to use their logo Chief Illiniwek on any of their uniforms as it was banned by the NCAA so you won't see that on an Illini helmet anytime soon. It was last used on award decals on the 1980's helmets. I happen to love that logo myself, as do many in Illini nation so that's too bad. Watch for more updates.
